110 Grove TMS 9000e
On Tuesday, April, 15, 2014, A-Quick Pick Crane Service took delivery of a brand new Grove TMS 9000e, a 110 ton mobile hydraulic truck crane. It is the 2nd of 3 major equipment upgrades this year. The first was a 1995 Kenworth T800 with a brand new Talbert RC60 Low Boy 60 Ton capacity trailer. The 3rd will be a new 30 Ton Manitex Boom Truck due to arrive late summer.
The new 110 ton machine has replaced an aging Grove TMS 900e, a 90 ton crane.
The Grove TMS 9000e has 142’ of main boom and a total of 208’ of tip height with the jib erected. Compared to 141’ of main, and 206’ of tip height on the machine it is replacing.
Shawmut Equipment out of Manchester, CT delivered the crane and provided training for a number of quick pick operators.
